BAFTA Film Awards 2026: Full Winners List

The 2026 EE BAFTA Film Awards are finally here, bringing a new wave of winners. These awards account for the most prominent European-based voting group, including 8,300 creative practitioners from all corners of the UK and the global film industry. The British Academy of Film and Television (BAFTA) is also one of the few major associations to select its awards with the input of a limited jury. For BAFTAs 2026, Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another is expected to win big, heading into the night with a total tally of 16 nominations. Ryan Coogler’s Sinners follows close behind with 13 nominations.

Chloé Zhao’s Hamnet and Josh Safdie’s Marty Supreme tied in third place with 11 nominations both. As to who will walk away with the most BAFTA wins is a whole different question, though. Alongside next week’s Actor Awards (formerly known as the SAG Awards), the BAFTAs are one of the final televised precursors to the Oscars, which are now only 3 weeks away. Of course, the few British-specific categories, like Best British Film and Best Debut by a British Writer, Director or Producer, make this ceremony stand out on its own. Along with the EE Rising Star award, which is voted for by the British public.

Hosted by Alan Cumming (The Traitors US), the 79th British Academy Film Awards will take place on Sunday, February 22, at London’s Royal Festival Hall. Stay tuned as we update the 2026 BAFTAs winners list live! You can also find the winners for the 2026 Golden Globes right here on DiscussingFilm.
