Nottingham Forest have dismissed head coach Sean Dyche after just four months in charge.
The decision follows a goalless home draw against Wolverhampton Wanderers, leaving Forest 17th in the Premier League table, three points above the relegation zone with 12 matches remaining.
Dyche, 54, was appointed in October on a contract running until 2027, replacing Ange Postecoglou, who had lasted only 39 days after succeeding Nuno Espírito Santo earlier in the campaign.
In a statement, the club confirmed Dyche had been relieved of his duties and thanked him and his staff for their efforts. No further comment was provided.
Dyche inherited a side third from bottom after a run of one win in eight games. Despite an initial uplift in results, Forest won just two of their last 10 league matches. They were also eliminated from the FA Cup by Wrexham AFC.
During his 114-day tenure, Dyche guided Forest into the Europa League play-offs, where they are scheduled to face Fenerbahçe S.K. in a two-legged tie next week.
Forest are now on course to become the first Premier League club to appoint four permanent managers in a single season. The move marks the eighth managerial departure in the top flight this campaign.
