Meghan Markle has ended her business partnership with Netflix for her lifestyle brand As Ever, choosing to run the company independently.
The brand, launched in 2025, sells lifestyle products including fruit spreads, rosé wine, teas, scented candles and flower sprinkles.
Split from Netflix
Netflix initially partnered with Meghan when the brand launched, providing staff and development support alongside her lifestyle show projects.
The separation was described as mutual, and Meghan reportedly remains on good terms with Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos.
Sources said she wanted greater freedom to expand the brand globally and felt the company’s growth was being slowed by Netflix’s cautious approach.
Brand Expansion Plans
As Ever products have so far been sold online only in the United States. Expansion is now expected into markets including:
- United Kingdom
- Australia
- New Zealand
Top-selling items include:
- $15 fruit spreads
- $15 flower sprinkles
- $14 teas
- $64 scented candles
Reports claim as many as 870,000 jars of fruit spread have been sold since the brand’s launch.
Netflix Relationship Continues
Despite the business split, Meghan and Prince Harry still maintain a first-look production deal with Netflix for film and television projects.
The streaming company previously cancelled Meghan’s lifestyle series With Love, Meghan after two seasons. Other projects linked to the couple remain in development.
Company Statement
A spokesperson for As Ever said the brand experienced rapid growth during its first year and is now ready to operate independently while expanding internationally.
