Like most people addicted to social media, Trump sleeps only 3-4 hours a night. He stays up at night sending hundreds of tweets on his Truth Social app.
President Trump’s schedule is mentally and physically exhausting. He grabs a quick nap whenever he can.

The official White House Rapid Response account on X.com responded to a media outlet posting a video that shows the president apparently asleep at the Resolute desk in the Oval Office. The White House dismissed the claim that Trump fell asleep.
They wrote, “His eyes are literally open in the clip you posted, you dumbass mouth-breathers.”
Some doctors who have never examined Trump claim he is concealing a narcolepsy diagnosis after his latest physical exam.
What is narcolepsy?
Narcolepsy is a chronic neurological disorder that causes excessive daytime sleepiness (EDS). People diagnosed with narcolepsy can’t stay awake for periods during the day. The disorder disrupts their sleep-wake cycle and interrupts their REM (Rapid Eye Movement) sleep at night.
The disorder also causes signs and symptoms like sleep paralysis, vivid nightmares, hallucinations, muscle weakness and insomnia.
Narcolepsy is more than just drowsiness, it’s a sleep attack. People who suffer from narcolepsy fall asleep and must be awakened by others.
It’s clear from videos that Trump is not actually sleeping. He’s simply resting to conserve his energy so he can stay up all night sending posts on Truth Social.
