Judges tell Sean Combs’ accusers to reveal themselves or their lawsuits will be dismissed’

A male entertainer is seeking a Manhattan judge’s intervention to keep his name confidential, fearing retaliation from Sean Combs’ inner circle.

With less than a month until Combs’s Manhattan trial commences, all judges presiding over his lawsuits have informed all accusers that revealing their names is mandatory or their lawsuits will be dismissed.

Combs’ lawyers have requested that all judges compel his accusers to disclose their identities.

According to court documents obtained by In Touch, the alleged male victim asserts that the relentless and persistent threats and duress exerted by Combs pose a significant risk of severe psychological and physical harm if his name is exposed.

In his lawsuit, John Doe accuses Combs of exploiting his power to sexually, physically, and psychologically abuse him over a period of more than five harrowing years.

His lawyer argues that as a male sexual abuse victim, Doe faces unique vulnerabilities, including significant stigma and misunderstanding. Publicly disclosing his identity could subject him to increased scrutiny and derogation, exacerbated by stereotypes about male victimhood and masculinity.

The lawyer further emphasizes that allowing Doe to proceed under a pseudonym in this action would prevent individuals from learning his true identity. This would provide Doe with substantial protection from being targeted by these powerful individuals and their associates. Additionally, it would offer him a sense of relative safety in his home and daily surroundings.

However, Combs’ lawyers maintain that he has the right to face his accusers in court.

Combs is currently incarcerated at a Brooklyn jail while awaiting his trial on May 5. He has already secured a few court victories.

A female accuser withdrew her lawsuit after failing to meet the March 30 deadline to reveal her identity.

A representative for Combs addressed In Touch, asserting that regardless of the number of lawsuits filed, Combs has never sexually assaulted or engaged in sex trafficking, regardless of the victim’s gender, age, or status. The representative acknowledges the prevalence of lawsuits filed for arbitrary reasons but emphasizes the existence of a fair and impartial judicial process to determine the truth. Combs expresses confidence in his ability to prevail in court.
