Patrick Muldoon has died at the age of 57 after suffering a heart attack at his home in Beverly Hills.
According to his sister, Shana Muldoon-Zappa, he was found unconscious in the bathroom after going to shower. Emergency responders attempted to revive him, but he could not be saved.
Muldoon rose to prominence with roles in Days of Our Lives, Melrose Place, and Starship Troopers. He portrayed Austin Reed on Days of Our Lives in the 1990s and returned to the role years later, while also gaining recognition as Richard Hart in Melrose Place.
His early career included appearances in Who’s the Boss? and Saved by the Bell.
Beyond television, Muldoon featured in films such as Deadlock, Vanquish, Dakota, Marlowe, and Murder at Hollow Creek. His final film, Dirty Hands, is set for release later this year.
He was also working as an executive producer on an upcoming project, “Kockroach,” starring Chris Hemsworth, Taron Egerton, and Zazie Beetz.
