Zimbabwe has been left reeling after a woman was brutally killed in Redcliff, allegedly for turning down a man’s romantic advances. The attack happened on August 10, 2025, at a bar in Mutegude Shops, the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) confirmed.
Two suspects Thembinkosi Ndlovu, 22, and Nkosinomusa Moyo, 24 have been arrested in connection with the murder of 40-year-old Rosemary Diana.
In a statement on X, police said: “The suspects attacked the victim after she had rejected Nkosinomusa Moyo’s romantic advances. Thembinkosi Ndlovu struck the victim with a cooking stick all over the body while Nkosinomusa Moyo stabbed her with a knife on the back.”
Authorities have launched a full investigation, with police continuing to collect evidence and urging anyone with information to come forward.
