President Donald Trump revoked the security clearances of several prominent opponents, including Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton, Kamala Harris, Liz Cheney, and others, who had either severely criticized or acted against the administration.
On Friday, the White House released a memo stating that it had determined that the continued access to classified information by these individuals was no longer in the national interest. The memo included the names of Antony Blinken, Jacob Sullivan, Lisa Monaco, Mark Zaid, Norman Eisen, Letitia James, Alvin Bragg, Andrew Weissmann, Hillary Clinton, Elizabeth Cheney, Kamala Harris, Adam Kinzinger, Fiona Hill, Alexander Vindman, Joseph R. Biden Jr., and any other members of Joseph R. Biden Jr.’s family.
Earlier this month, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard announced that she had revoked the security clearances of several individuals mentioned in Trump’s memo and barred them from accessing classified information. She also rescinded the clearances of the 51 signers of the Hunter Biden ‘disinformation’ letter.
Furthermore, Gabbard informed former President Biden that the President’s Daily Brief would no longer be provided to the former president.

In addition to having their security clearances revoked, the individuals listed in Trump’s memorandum have had their “unescorted access to secure United States Government facilities” rescinded.
Several individuals mentioned in Trump’s memo largely dismissed it in social media posts responding to the news. Zaid and Eisen both stated that it was “the third time” their security clearances had been revoked. Kinzinger posted a video claiming that he had “retired from the military a year ago” and lacked a clearance before criticizing the president as a “dumbass.”
The security clearance memo was issued just a few days after Trump announced that he was removing Hunter and Ashley Biden from their Secret Service protection.
