Prince Harry, Meghan and Their Children Set for First Family Visit to UK in Four Years

Prince Harry and his family are expected to return to the United Kingdom next month for their first visit together in four years, according to multiple British media reports.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are reportedly set to travel from California with their two children, Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, five. If confirmed, it would mark the first time the family has visited Britain together since 2022.

Harry and Meghan stepped back from royal duties in 2020 and relocated to North America, citing intense media scrutiny, racism, online abuse, family tensions and a desire for greater financial independence.

Since leaving royal life, the couple have settled in California and have become increasingly estranged from members of the Royal Family amid a series of public interviews, documentaries and the publication of Harry’s memoir.

Despite the ongoing tensions, Prince Harry has returned to Britain several times in recent years. He attended the funeral of his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, in 2022 and was present at the coronation of his father, King Charles III, in 2023.

Last September, Harry reunited with the King during a visit to England, marking their first face-to-face meeting in 19 months. Earlier this year, he also returned to the UK as part of legal proceedings involving allegations of unlawful information gathering against the publisher of the Daily Mail.

The Duke of Sussex has repeatedly expressed his wish to repair relations with his family, raising speculation that the years-long royal rift could eventually ease.

It remains unclear whether King Charles will meet his grandchildren during the upcoming trip. The monarch last saw Archie and Lilibet in person during the Platinum Jubilee celebrations for Queen Elizabeth II in 2022.

The reported visit is expected to coincide with an event marking one year until the start of the 2027 Invictus Games in Birmingham. The international sporting event for wounded and injured military personnel was founded by Prince Harry more than a decade ago and remains one of his most significant charitable projects.

According to reports, Harry has received assurances that appropriate security arrangements will be in place during the visit, an issue that has been at the centre of several legal battles and has previously been cited as one of the reasons why the Sussex family rarely travels to Britain together.

The trip could represent a significant moment for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and may provide another opportunity for reconciliation between Prince Harry and the Royal Family after years of strained relations.
