According to Vibe.com, as consumers wear their “dirty” sneakers, they lighten and brighten up until they almost appear new.
One X user hypothesized that the sneakers become cleaner when exposed to oxygen.
Complex revealed the sneaker on social media with a note card detailing the full release from the company’s Dot Swoosh division.
think it’s cause oxygen must be the reason it wears away. So only wearing it can expose the material to oxygen for a long enough duration for it to work maybe?

The note card provides information about the sneakers, including that they come with a toothbrush. This toothbrush is used by sneaker enthusiasts to clean their kicks.
