Amid her messy divorce from Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, has made it known she needs not be liked as her 6 kids are enough for her revealing they her are the best friends.
In an iterview with New York Times, the 42-year-old single mother reflected on the the hardships that she has faced on the course of her career, but explained that criticism and public perception had no bearing on her as she only cares about the opinion of her kids.
Jolie who split from husband Brad in September said her kids Maddox, 16, and Pax, 13, Shiloh, 11, Zahara, 12, as well as twins Knox and Vivienne, both nine explained that they have ‘helped’ and ‘stood by her’ in times of crisis.
‘They’re the best friends I’ve ever had.’
‘None of it’s easy. It’s very, very difficult, a very painful situation, and I just want my family healthy.’
‘I never expect to be the one that everybody understands or likes and that’s O.K., because I know who I am, and the kids know who I am.’
