Brad Pitt Seeks Angelina Jolie’s Private Messages in Château Miraval Legal Battle

Brad Pitt has filed a new court motion requesting access to private communications from his ex-wife, Angelina Jolie, as part of their ongoing legal dispute over the French winery Château Miraval.

According to the Daily Mail, the documents were filed on June 30 and reveal Pitt’s claim that messages between Jolie and executives at the Stoli Group particularly Alexey Oliynik are crucial to supporting his case. The 61-year-old actor argues that Jolie improperly sold her $64 million stake in the vineyard to Russian billionaire Yuri Shefler, allegedly violating a prior agreement that neither party would sell their interest without the other’s consent.

Pitt’s legal team says their attempts to question Oliynik have so far been unsuccessful. The Stoli Group executive has asserted that, as a Swiss resident, he is not subject to the jurisdiction of California courts. Nonetheless, Pitt maintains that Oliynik holds vital information about the sale negotiations.

This latest filing marks a new chapter in the former couple’s years-long legal saga. Jolie sold her share of the estate in 2021, five years after the couple’s separation. Since then, the pair have been entangled in disputes over the business, including non-disclosure agreements allegedly linked to the sale.

Jolie has previously urged Pitt to drop the case, citing the emotional toll on their family. However, sources close to Pitt say he is committed to pursuing the matter, viewing it now as a business dispute rather than a personal one.

The court has not yet ruled on Pitt’s latest motion.
