A turboprop aircraft that went missing earlier on Saturday is believed to have crashed in Indonesia, with all 11 people on board feared dead. The Indonesia Air Transport ATR 42-500 departed Yogyakarta on a scheduled two-hour flight to Makassar, South Sulawesi. Air traffic control lost contact with the aircraft when it was about 12 miles from its destination. There were three passengers and eight crew members on board. Search and rescue operations are underway in the Leang-Leang area, where the aircraft is believed to have gone down.
