Michael Abebe, one of the nephew’s of former first lady, Late Stella Obasanjo, had his engagement ceremony to his fiancee, Erica Cusworth, at the Harbour point, Victoria Island, Lagos yesterday, Wednesday December 20th. A man in China has taken delivery of a brand new BMW car he purchased with coins he had been saving for several years. According to local reports, the unnamed customer bought a BMW, whose full price is about 400,000 yuan (£45,000), on December 18, and insisted to pay the first instalment of his new car in coinage.

Some parents of a Connecticut high school were upset when they learned first daughter Ivanka Trump made a surprise visit to the school. Ivanka Trump visited the school unannounced to speak to students. The school has a program that helps students prepare for careers in computers and science and Ivanka is leading the efforts to promote similar programs across the country.

One of the wives of the Olubadan of Ibadan land, Oba Saliu Adetunji, Olori Kudirat Aduke, has died. A statement by the Director, Media and Publicity to the monarch, Adeola Oloko, said the queen died in the early hours of the day at the age of 71.
