The secretary of APC in Yobe state, Mai Mala Buni, lost his sons, Jibrin Abdullaji and Musa Abdullahi, in a fatal accident along the Damaturu road in Yobe state. They died on the spot. They have been buried according to Islamic rite. May their souls rest in peace, Amen.

Senate President, Bukola Saraki, has asked Nigerian politicians to stop campaigning towards the 2019 election as it is too early in the day to do such. Saraki said this today in his welcome address to his colleagues at the senate plenary session. According to the Saraki, it is insensitive to be campaigning when Nigerians are dealing with so many unfortunate incidents.
