Nigeria’s First President, Nnamdi Azikiwe was kind enough to build these blocks of flats aka Zik Blocks and handed over to the management of the University of Nigeria Nsukka, Enugu state. Over the years, the estate which comprises of 22 student hostels with restaurants and a nursing mothers hostel building, have been left abandoned and are deteriorating daily.
