Tina Knowles, Beyoncé’s mother, found herself unexpectedly pulled into the ongoing online drama involving Nicki Minaj and Jay-Z. She made it clear she wants no part of it.
The situation began when Nicki Minaj alleged that Jay-Z owes her $200 million, claiming it was her unpaid share from the sale of the TIDAL streaming platform. Jay-Z has not responded publicly to the claim. However, social media users took notice when Tina shared a message on Instagram that many interpreted as a subtle reference to the controversy.
In the now-deleted post, Tina wrote:
“Good morning, it feels good to wake up knowing my faves didn’t lose their minds. Y’all have a great day. Remember to ignore the ignorance.”
The post quickly went viral, with fans speculating that she was taking a jab at Nicki Minaj. Commenters began accusing her of getting involved in a dispute that had nothing to do with her.
Tina swiftly responded and denied the claims. In a follow-up post, she clarified:
“Wow I reposted this because it was talking about our relationship. It had nothing to do with anyone other than me and Beyoncé. Please stop being messy and dragging me into something I don’t have anything to do with! You guys should be ashamed!!! And all the bots are ridiculous!!!”
She also expressed frustration with what she described as the overwhelming presence of automated accounts on social media, which she believes contribute to misinformation and online conflict.
While the dispute between Nicki Minaj and Jay-Z remains unresolved, Tina Knowles has made it clear that she wants to stay out of it and is urging others not to involve her in the drama.
