Cristiano Ronaldo has reignited the age-old comparison between himself and David Beckham, boldly declaring that he has the better physique and “the whole package.”
Appearing on Piers Morgan Uncensored, the Portuguese footballer was asked whether he considers himself better looking than the former England captain. Ronaldo didn’t hesitate.
“It depends,” he began. “For me, looking good is not only the face but the whole package. Imagine Cristiano and a normal guy with red speedos on the Copacabana you think I’m not going to have a chance with nobody?”
When Morgan pressed him further, asking who would get more attention walking across the Copacabana Beach for ten minutes, Ronaldo replied, “Me, 100 percent.”
Ronaldo went on to praise Beckham’s looks while dismissing his physique. “His face is beautiful, yeah, handsome face,” he said. “The rest is normal, like it’s normal. I’m not normal. I’m perfecto.”
Despite the boast, Ronaldo added that he respects Beckham, calling him “a guy who speaks well” and someone he likes.
The 40-year-old also claimed he might be the most famous person in the world, saying, “We’ll do a debate for the world who’s more famous, me or President Donald Trump? I think, even on small islands, they know me more than him.”
