Ciara Stuns on the Runway at Lagos Fashion Week in Sculptural Red Fruché Gown

When Ciara landed in Lagos for the 2025 Lagos Fashion Week, there was already speculation she wouldn’t just attend, she’d make the runway her stage. And she did exactly that.

On Day 2 of the event, the Grammy-winning singer closed the Fruché show in a breathtaking red gown that commanded attention from the moment she stepped onto the runway.

The dress, made from pleated fabric with a subtle metallic sheen, played with both structure and movement. Vertical pleats ran through the gown, catching the light as Ciara glided forward. The silhouette was bold yet fluid featuring wide, wing-like balloon sleeves and a deep V-neckline intricately embellished with beadwork and embroidery in hues of red, coral, and pink.

The embellishments cinched her waist before the gown cascaded into a flowing full-length skirt that shimmered with every stride.

Ciara completed the look with a vivid red gele, tied high and sculpted into sweeping folds that framed her face perfectly a striking nod to Nigerian tradition that balanced the avant-garde design of the gown.

Between her runway moment for Fruché and her appearances at Onalaja alongside Chi–Chi, it’s clear Ciara isn’t just visiting Lagos, she’s immersing herself in its creative energy.
