Rapper Kanye West surpassed his idol and the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, on the list of most Top 40 hits of all time last week. Billboard reports that West achieved the feat as his collaboration with Schoolboy Q on “THat Part,” reached No. 40 on the Billboard Hot 100, making it the 40th time that he’s landed in the Top 40 compared to the late Michael Jackson’s 39.
