Trump Weighs More Shake-Ups After Bondi Exit Amid Rising Tensions

Trump tells CNN Cuba is soon going to fall: ‘I’m going to put Marco over there’

Donald Trump is reportedly considering further changes to his administration following the dismissal of Pam Bondi, as internal tensions escalate among senior officials.

Sources indicate Trump has grown increasingly frustrated with Howard Lutnick and Lori Chavez-DeRemer, with one official describing him as “very angry” and open to additional personnel changes.

Other high-ranking figures, including Kash Patel and Dan Driscoll, have also been linked to potential departures, though no final decisions have been confirmed.

The possible reshuffle comes alongside broader upheaval within the military. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth recently removed several senior leaders, including Randy George, who stepped down with immediate effect.

Officials have not disclosed specific reasons for the military changes, which follow a pattern of dismissals among top officers over the past year.

Despite speculation, the White House has publicly backed several of those named, stating that officials such as Patel and Chavez-DeRemer continue to deliver results and retain the president’s confidence.

Bondi’s removal came after sustained scrutiny over the Department of Justice, particularly regarding high-profile investigations including matters tied to Jeffrey Epstein, as well as pressure to pursue cases against political opponents.

Todd Blanche has been appointed as interim attorney general, underscoring ongoing instability within the administration as leadership decisions continue to shift.
