Former Nickelodeon child star Kianna Underwood has been identified as the victim of a fatal hit-and-run collision in Brooklyn early Friday morning. She was 33.
According to law enforcement sources cited by TMZ, Underwood was struck by a gray vehicle traveling west on Pitkin Avenue as she crossed at the intersection of Pitkin Avenue and Mother Gaston Boulevard. The driver fled the scene.
Underwood, who appeared on the 2005 Nickelodeon series All That and also starred in Little Bill, suffered severe trauma to her head and torso. She was reportedly dragged beneath the vehicle for nearly two blocks before being left motionless in the roadway.
The NYPD received a 911 call at approximately 6:49 a.m. Emergency medical services pronounced her dead at the scene. No arrests have been made, and the suspect remains unidentified.
Underwood was a former child actress whose work left a lasting mark on Nickelodeon audiences.
