UK prosecutors have officially authorised 21 criminal charges against controversial influencers Andrew Tate and Tristan Tate, marking the first time these charges have been confirmed in Britain. According to a statement from the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS), the charges include rape, actual bodily harm, human trafficking, and controlling prostitution for gain. The CPS said it authorised the charges following a file of evidence submitted by Bedfordshire Police, related to multiple allegations made in the UK.

• Andrew Tate, 38, faces 10 charges linked to three alleged victims, including:

The brothers, both dual British-American citizens, are currently under investigation in Romania for separate allegations, which they continue to deny. The CPS noted that criminal matters in Romania must be resolved before the UK extradition proceedings can move forward. The charges were authorised before an extradition warrant was issued in 2024 to return the pair from Romania to the UK for prosecution.
