Copycat egg tries to steal Twitter record for most retweeted photo ever

After an egg dethroned Kylie Jenner to have the most likes on a photo on Instagram, a copycat egg is trying to achieve the same feat on Twitter.

The copycat account is trying to make another picture of an egg the most retweeted tweet ever.

The  mystery account ‘World Record Egg’, which tweets under the handle Egg_rt_record, claims no affiliation with its Instagram lookalike and is trying to beat the current Twitter world record of 5.2 million retweets.

Sharing a photo of an egg, the Twitter account wrote:

Let’s set a world record together and get the most retweeted tweet on Twitter.

Beating the current world record held by Yusaku Maezawa @yousuck2020 (5.3 million!) We got this.
