David Raya has officially secured the Premier League Golden Glove for the 2025/26 season after keeping his 18th clean sheet in Arsenal’s 1-0 win over West Ham United at the London Stadium.
The victory confirmed Raya as the outright winner of the award, with his closest challenger, Gianluigi Donnarumma of Manchester City, unable to catch him despite three matches remaining in the season.
Raya becomes only the fourth goalkeeper in Premier League history to win the Golden Glove in three consecutive seasons. He joins an elite list featuring Pepe Reina, Joe Hart, and Ederson.
Since joining Arsenal from Brentford in 2023, Raya has won the award every season. He first claimed it with 14 clean sheets in 2023/24 before sharing the honour in 2024/25 with Matz Sels of Nottingham Forest.
His latest achievement came after a standout performance against West Ham, including a crucial save to deny Matheus Fernandes before Leandro Trossard scored the decisive goal.
A late West Ham equaliser was later ruled out following a VAR review that determined Raya had been fouled during the buildup.
After the match, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta praised his goalkeeper’s performance, calling the save a “magic moment” and describing Raya as incredible.
Raya now sits just one Golden Glove away from equalling the all-time Premier League record of four awards, currently held by Petr Čech and Joe Hart.
