Drake was a guest on LeBron James and Maverick Carter’s HBO show “The Shop” tonight, where he opened up about his recent feuds with Pusha-Tand Kanye West.
According to Drake, he was supposed to collaborate with Kanye West on a song,Lift Yourself.
Drake said Kanye said he had to tell him all about his Scorpion album, the release dates and even played Kanye 60% of his songs.
He revealed Kanye then invited him over to Wyoming for recording sessions.
But Drake claims, Kanye did not divulge to him that he was also working on releasing an album.
He reiterated that he played “March 14” for Kanye, (The song is about finding out he had a son with a porn star)showed him pictures of his son Adonis, and told him the target date for Scorpion‘s release.
I’m in Wyoming. I play him March 14. I send him a picture of my son. I tell him I’m having trouble with my son’s mother,” Drake says, implying that Kanye revealed the information about his son to Pusha-T.
Drake continues that Kanye shocked him by releasing G.o.o.d Music album dates all around the same time he was releasing his,
“I wake up, and all these dates are out. One by one by one. All of them around June 15.”
He says that Kanye initially promised him “Lift Yourself” before releasing it himself, complete with gibberish lyrics that seemed to Drake to be not just a troll to critics of Kanye’s new conservatism, but of Drake himself.
